Introducing the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Flying Tourbillon" with an aventurine enamel dial.

Audemars Piguet has announced the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Flying Tourbillon." As the name suggests, this model features a flying tourbillon and an aventurine enamel dial, giving the CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet an even more three-dimensional look.

The new "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" features deep aventurine enamel and a tourbillon.

　In 2019, Audemars Piguet unveiled the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet" (hereinafter "CODE 11.59") collection at SIHH. The collection's lineup has steadily expanded in 2020, with new three-hand and chronograph models. This time, the brand has added a new model, the "CODE 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Flying Tourbillon," featuring a flying tourbillon. While the company previously released a model with a manual-winding movement and flying tourbillon in the 2018 Royal Oak Concept collection, this time the brand has adopted a full-rotor automatic movement. While the full-rotor design is disadvantageous in terms of thickness, the brand's bold attempt is typical of the brand. This model is available in two styles, each with a different dial and case color.

　The first model features a black aventurine enamel dial with pink gold indices, hands, and case. This dial is made by layering aventurine glass powder on top of gold and then finishing it with Grand Feu enamel. The firing is done by hand by artisans, who repeatedly apply layers of glass powder and fire the enamel over and over again, resulting in a dial with a unique look for each piece.

　The second model features a smoke blue aventurine enamel dial with white gold indices, hands, and a case. The smoke blue color is achieved by blending blue and black aventurine glass into the enamel.

　Both models follow the basic design principles of the CODE 11.59. Features like a thin circular bezel, octagonal middle case, circular case back, and boldly hollowed-out short lugs are all unique designs not found in other collections. The aventurine enamel used in this model adds transparency and depth to the dial, giving the CODE 11.59 an even more three-dimensional look. It can be said that these specifications further enhance the appeal of the collection.
