Bvlgari has announced that all proceeds from the sale of its limited-edition, numbered Bvlgari Aluminum Tricolore watches (50 pieces) will be donated to the Italian Air Force's fundraising project, "Un dono dal cielo" ("Gift from Heaven"). The project, launched by the Italian Air Force during the announcement of the centennial celebrations (running from 2020 to the end of 2021) of the declaration of Our Lady of Loreto as "Patroness of All Pilots," will benefit three children's hospitals in Italy: Gianina Gaslini Hospital in Genoa, Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome, and Santo Buono Pausilipon Hospital in Naples. An additional 1000 pieces, without serial numbers, will be available starting in December.
Bvlgari x Frecce Tricolori

Each of the 11 special limited edition watches will come with a certificate and be engraved with the same identification number (Pony 0 to 10) as the Frecce Tricolori aircraft. As a symbol of this entire initiative, the Pony 0 watch will be presented to Lieutenant Colonel Gaetano Farina, commander of the Frecce Tricolori, on behalf of the entire Italian Air Force. This Pony 0, along with Pony 1, dedicated to the Frecce Tricolori's Chief Training Officer's aircraft, and Pony 10, dedicated to the solo pilot, will be auctioned by Christie's Italy in December, contributing to this solidarity movement.

The Italian Air Force's famous aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori, played a crucial role during the most serious period of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to create the ultimate "embrace" (a reference to their flight tour entitled Abracchio Tricolore, meaning a three-coloured embrace), they flew across Italy from north to south, over the skies of various capital cities, culminating on June 2, 2020, the Italian Republic's National Day, when the team's tricolour flag was unfurled over Rome.
