Citizen's Campanola Cosmosign brand will be releasing a limited edition model to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the release of Disney's animated film "Fantasia." The watch features special features befitting a limited edition, such as a Mickey Mouse silhouette on the dial and a medallion with the official logo on the case back. The Campanola "Cosmosign Disney Animation "Fantasia" Limited Edition Model," limited to 80 pieces, is scheduled to be released on January 21, 2021.

　Campanola, which has a design concept of "beauty of the sky," is one of the watch brands developed by Citizen. The "Cosmosign" collection, among others, depicts the movement of the stars and the phases of the moon on the dial. The limited edition model announced this time is a collaboration with Disney's animated film "Fantasia," released in 1940.

　Fantasia is a feature-length animated film whose story unfolds to the accompaniment of classical music performed by an orchestra. It was the world's first film to feature stereo sound, and at the 14th Academy Awards in 41, Walt Disney and orchestral conductor Leopold Stokowski received special awards for the film. Regarded as a masterpiece in film history, this film celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2020.

　Based on the Cosmosign constellation dial model, this collaboration model features a dial that recreates the starry sky as seen from 35 degrees north latitude. The dial, which features 452 stars and 119 nebulae and star clusters, rotates counterclockwise, replicating the movement of the actual celestial bodies. The dial also features a silhouette of Mickey Mouse against a starry backdrop, evoking a scene from the film.

　The case back features a medallion with the official logo commemorating the 80th anniversary of the release of Fantasia. The combination of the cherry blossom-colored PVD case and blue dial is a special color combination exclusive to this limited edition model. In addition to the white calfskin leather strap, a dark blue calfskin leather strap reminiscent of the night sky is also included.
