Audemars Piguet has announced "180," a music series that connects creators active in different genres and aims to create new music. Comprised of five episodes, each directed by a different film director, the series aims to create a unique musical experience as part of the music program launched in 2019. Two episodes have now been released and can be viewed on the brand's official website or YouTube.

The "180" series creates new music through collaborations between different fields
Audemars Piguet has been developing music projects since 2019. At Art Basel in 19, they exhibited a sound installation by Norwegian sound artist Jana Winderen, and at the company-sponsored event "More Than a Watch," they exhibited the audiovisual work "data-verse" by RYOJI IKEDA and the sound installation "Wild Constellations" by Alexandre Joly.
The music series "180" was launched in November 2020 as part of this music project. It consists of five episodes, each featuring a different film director, singer, and musician teaming up to create a song. The aim of this series is to encourage the creation of new musical fields through collaboration between creators from different fields.
Episode 1: The Language of the Soul

"LE LANGAGE DES AMES (The Language of the Soul)," released in November 2020, is the first episode of the 180 series. This work is a collaboration between French film director Anissa Bonnefont, model Cindy Bruna, and music producer and DJ Tchakø. Tchakø's music can be described as a hybrid of various musical genres, but this time the main focus is on the piano sounds he plays. Cindy's voice reciting Khalil Gibran's poem, from which the title is derived, overlaps, creating a pleasant harmony. You can watch the video and audio atFrom here.

Episode 2 "Come Around"
Episode 2, "Come Around," was released in January 2021. The video was produced by Montreal-based video director Patrick Antonijewicz. Musician Betta Remi collaborated with the music group THe LYONZ to create and record the song in the limited time of two days. The combination of Betta Remi, who is influenced by 1960s pop and 90s dance music, and THe LYONZ's music, which combines electronic music and hip-hop, has resulted in a song with a unique worldview.
