Van Cleef & Arpels releases the "Lady Fairy Watch," a watch that evokes a fantastical world

Van Cleef & Arpels presents the Lady Fairy Watch, featuring a fairy on the dial. This romantic timepiece features a blue gradient dial and a fairy adorned with sapphires and diamonds pointing at the time with a wand.

　Van Cleef & Arpels has been creating jewelry and watches with fairy motifs since the 1940s. The Lady Fairy Watch is an artistic timepiece that continues the Maison's legacy. The blue-graded dial, reminiscent of the night sky, is adorned with delicate guilloched engraving, and features a moon peeking out from mother-of-pearl clouds. The moon at 6 o'clock indicates the hours, while the staff held by the fairy perched on the cloud serves as a retrograde hand to indicate the minutes.

　The fairy's wings are created by combining two techniques, plique-à-jour enamel and grisaille enamel, to create a sense of transparency and a delicate gradation. The rotor, visible through the case back, features a night sky rendered in rice-grain guilloché, complemented by a mirror-finished moon and stars. The bezel, case sides, and lugs are seamlessly set with diamonds, further enhancing the fairy's dial. The white alligator strap and pin buckle are removable, and two replacement straps and a diamond-set pin buckle are included.
