Zenith has unveiled the new generation Chronomaster Sport, featuring an evolved El Primero caliber capable of measuring time to 1/10th of a second. The new El Primero 3600 caliber offers even greater performance and precision than its predecessor. The exceptionally legible 1/10th of a second display is etched directly into the black ceramic bezel.

The Chronomaster Sport features a polished black ceramic bezel in a 41 mm sleek, robust steel case with pump-style pushers. The new model stands out from its predecessor: the chronograph counters have been changed from the previous 30-minute, 12-hour, and 60-second (small second) counters to 60 seconds, 60 minutes, and small second counters.

The Evolution of El Primero

The Chronomaster Sport is equipped with a new version of the Manufacture's most famous movement, the El Primero 3600 caliber. Drawing on over 50 years of experience with the El Primero and high-performance chronographs in general, Zenith has managed to deliver a 5 Hz (36,000 vph) escapement with 1/10th-second precision and an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The see-through sapphire crystal caseback clearly reveals the new mechanics, including the blue column wheel and open rotor adorned with the Zenith star.
