Ulysse Nardin unveils new "Skeleton X Sparkling" model, adorned with diamonds

Two new models have been added to the "Skeleton X" series, which features a bold "X" on a hollowed-out dial, a characteristic of Ulysse Nardin in recent years. Decorated with dazzling diamonds, they exude a sporty yet elegant appearance.

Brilliant transparency

　The Skeleton X, announced by Ulysse Nardin in 2019, was created based on the company's new design concept. It features a multifaceted case with striking straight lines, a bold "X" icon in the center, and a dial and movement that have been hollowed out to the maximum extent possible, making it a design that symbolizes the company's recent work.

　In 2021, a new model, the Skeleton X Sparkling, was released, adorned with diamonds. The bezel is set with 80 diamonds, while the dial features 69 diamonds on the bar indexes and Roman numerals at 3 and 9 o'clock. These two watches are made for enthusiasts who appreciate exclusive and glamorous watches.

　However, it is subdued in its flashiness and is rather elegant. It is equipped with the company's in-house movement, "Cal. UN-371," whose transparency is accentuated by diamonds. You can enjoy the mechanism unique to a skeleton movement, and get a glimpse of the company's proud silicium manufacturing technology. Of particular note is the wide, lightweight silicon balance wheel, which is equipped with a specially shaped nickel weight and a highly stable microblade.

　In addition to diamonds, the white model also features a mother-of-pearl barrel, with an engraved circular pattern that accentuates its beauty.
