Breitling and Deus Ex Machina Collaborate on the Top Time Deus Limited Edition

Breitling has released the Top Time Deus Limited Edition, a collaboration model with the Australian lifestyle brand Deus Ex Machina. Limited to 1500 pieces worldwide, this model will be sold exclusively online for four weeks after its release. As part of the collaboration, Breitling will also serve as the official timekeeper for the Deus Swank Rally, a vintage motorcycle race organized by Deus Ex Machina.

The Top Time Deus Limited Edition celebrates the free spirit

　The Breitling Top Time Deus Limited Edition is a collaboration model with Deus Ex Machina, a brand based in Sydney, Australia. Deus Ex Machina (hereafter referred to as Deus) started out as a custom bike and apparel brand, and has gained popularity for its unique concept of crossing over the cultures of motorcycling, surfing, and skateboarding.

　The Top Time Deus Limited Edition is based on the Top Time released by Breitling in the 1960s. This watch, targeted at active young people of the time, was reissued in 2020 with a unique design known as the "Zorro Dial," limited to 2000 pieces worldwide. As this is a collaboration model, the Deus slogan "IN BENZIN VERITAS (The truth is in the fuel)" is featured on the tachymeter scale around the outer edge of the dial, and the Deus logo appears at 6 o'clock on the dial. Additionally, the case back is engraved with an illustration by the brand's creative director, Kirby Tuckwell.

　This model will be sold exclusively online for four weeks after its release, after which it will be available for purchase at authorized retailers. A campaign is also underway where customers who purchase the watch on Breitling's official website or the e-commerce sites of select authorized retailers will receive a limited-edition Deus coffee table book and special tote bag. In conjunction with the partnership, a new squad, the "Deus Squad," has also been formed. The members are surfer Forrest Minchinton, who also has a deep knowledge of motorcycles; competitive surfer Sierra Larback from Hawaii; and Deus Sydney builder Jeremy Tagan. It has also been announced that Breitling will serve as the official timekeeper of the Deus Swank Rally, a vintage motorcycle race organized by Deus.
