G-SHOCK [2021 New Release] Frogman and Royal Navy Collaboration Model "GWF-A1000RN"

G-SHOCK's Frogman diver's watch series will be releasing a new collaboration model with the Royal Navy, the GWF-A1000RN. This model, inspired by the HMS Queen Elizabeth, the largest aircraft carrier in the history of the British Royal Navy, will be released in April and will come with a special box.

G-SHOCK's Frogman diver's watch is designed for use in harsh environments. Based on the GWF-A1000, the series' first analog model released in the fall of 2020, the GWF-A1000RN is a collaboration model with the British Royal Navy. The Royal Navy was bestowed the title of "Royal" by King Charles II of England in 1660, making it the oldest British military force.

　The design motif of this collaboration model is the HMS Queen Elizabeth, the aircraft carrier that was the largest warship in the history of the Royal Navy. The light gray case and strap are inspired by the hull of the Queen Elizabeth, with the Royal Navy's colors of red, white, and navy blue used as accents. The strap's keeper is engraved with the Royal Navy logo, and the case back features a frog holding an anchor, a character from the Frogman series.

　Like the GWF-A1000 on which it is based, this watch features a carbon monocoque case with the case and back integrated into one piece, achieving lightweight performance and 200m water resistance. The strap is made of a stain-resistant, hydrolysis-resistant fluoroelastomer material to withstand rigorous underwater use. Functionality includes Bluetooth connectivity and the dedicated G-SHOCK Connected smartphone app, allowing for smartphone connectivity. In tide mode, the app's built-in tide data for approximately 3000 locations around the world can be selected and displayed on the inset dial. In dive mode, the hands indicate dive time and surface interval time, and the data collected can be viewed as a dive log on your smartphone.

　This collaboration model features high water resistance and diver-friendly features, and comes with a special box featuring the Royal Navy logo. It is scheduled to be released in April.
