IWC Schaffhausen has launched a new series of paper-based watch straps called "TimberTex." These pioneering products are the result of meticulous research and development, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to innovation and responsible watchmaking.

IWC has unveiled a new paper watch strap made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified European wood. While IWC has sourced leather from responsibly, the brand recognizes the importance of offering alternative materials. The brand already offers stainless steel, textile, and rubber straps. Taking this a step further, the brand has unveiled the paper-based "TimberTex" strap for its existing collections.

Currently, TimberTex straps are available for four models: the Portugieser Chronograph, the Portugieser Automatic 40, the Portofino Automatic, and the Portofino Chronograph. They will be available in blue, brown, and black.
