New jewelry added to TASAKI's "M/G TASAKI" collection

TASAKI's jewelry collection "M/G TASAKI" has released new pieces in the popular series "FLORET" and "FACETED", as well as a new series called "SLASHED".

The innovatively designed "M/G TASAKI" collection

　"M/G TASAKI," which TASAKI has been running since 2012, is a jewelry collection that combines innovative designs with the company's advanced processing techniques. The head designer is London-based designer Melanie Georgacopoulos. Born and raised in Greece, she studied goldsmithing at the Mokume Institute in Athens, before studying sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art in the UK and earning a master's degree in jewelry from the Royal College of Art.

"FLORET" with its organic design

　The "FLORET" series, which has a small flower motif, is characterized by simple, abstract designs that bring out the natural beauty of the pearls, white gold, yellow gold, and diamonds. New this season is a design reminiscent of the tendrils of a vine. It combines a white gold spiral with yellow gold and diamond leaves and lustrous fruit-like Akoya pearls. This new design is available in earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets.

"FACETED" combines pearls and diamonds

　The "FACETED" series, which uses hemispherical Mabe pearls to create the shape of diamonds, expresses the company's two major elements: pearls and diamonds. In the new design, a diamond is set on one side of the SAKURA gold frame, highlighting the luster of the Mabe pearls and creating a more glamorous piece of jewelry. The lineup includes seven types: two earrings, two necklaces, two bracelets, and one ring.

Genderless new series "SLASHED"

　The new series "SLASHED" features a slash (/) motif, symbolizing the concept of the M/G TASAKI collection: "discovering opposites and liberating ourselves from tradition and common sense." The minimalist, sharp design of two parallelograms connected together is also appealing in that it can be enjoyed by both men and women. The lineup includes four types: earrings, pendants, rings, and bracelets. Each type is available in three combinations: SAKURA gold and diamonds, yellow gold and purple/yellow sapphire, and white gold and purple/yellow sapphire.
