A. Lange & Söhne [2021 New Model] The Little Lange 1 Moon Phase features a captivating dial with sparkling stars

A. Lange & Söhne has introduced the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase, featuring a solid silver dial covered in dark blue goldstones. The indices and moon phase disc are decorated with stars, creating a night sky look. A model with a bezel set with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds is also available.

A dial reminiscent of a starry sky

　A. Lange & Söhne has announced the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase as a new addition to Watch & Wonders 2021. The motif of this model is an enchanting moonlit night bathed in bright light, and it features a design that resembles a starry sky.

　The solid silver dial is covered in dark blue goldstone with copper grains, and the design elements are based on this motif. The hour markers between the Roman numerals 3, 6, 9, and 12 are star-shaped and made of rhodiumed gold, just like the hands.

　The oversized date and moon phase display blend seamlessly into the dark blue dial. The polished moon phase display is crafted from white gold and features a disc studded with 628 stars, echoing the brilliant goldstone dial.

　The most suitable match for this dial is the white gold case, which is limited to a diameter of 36.8 mm for the ladies' model. In addition to the standard model, there is also a model with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds set in the bezel, which adds to the brilliance and creates a glamorous impression.

　Additionally, a shiny, glittery leather bracelet was prepared specifically for this model, creating a unified color scheme and further enhancing the elegant appearance.

A superior machine keeps time gracefully

　The movement is the in-house caliber L121.2. Despite being smaller than the Lange 1, it offers the same functionality and a three-day power reserve. The moon phase is so accurate that it takes 122.6 years for it to deviate by one day.

　The Glashütte striped three-quarter plate, the engraved balance cock, and the gold chatons secured by tempered blue screws are visible through the case back fitted with a sapphire crystal. This manufacture, which boasts the finest traditions in Saxony, elevates the art of watchmaking with its exceptionally finished movements.
