　To create this one-of-a-kind creation, Hublot employed a new automatic tourbillon caliber with sapphire bridges, breathtaking in its transparency. Crafting a case and bracelet from sapphire into one piece seemed impossible, but Hublot's engineers mastered the art of sapphire processing, becoming the first brand to industrialize and mass-produce it. It took five years to create the first sapphire case—almost long enough to fit into a bracelet. Crafting a case and bracelet from sapphire and then assembling them together was the culmination of meticulous work by the entire Hublot team.

A very intricate bracelet

　The bracelet alone contains 165 components, 22 of which are made of sapphire crystal. Each required a special manufacturing process. One-third of these components were specially designed to complement the transparent case in unique harmony and ensure fluid flexibility. Most notable among these are the titanium inserts developed by Hublot, which are so reduced in size that they extend beyond either side of the bracelet links – a first for the Hublot Manufacture and possibly the watchmaking industry.

HUB6035 Automatic Manufacture Caliber

　The heart of this timepiece is the HUB6035 automatic manufacture caliber, designed and crafted entirely in-house. The micro-rotor at 12 o'clock and the tourbillon at 6 o'clock strike a perfect balance, complemented by three transparent sapphire bridges exclusive to this new Big Bang. The components literally appear to float in mid-air. Light reaches each gear train not only from the dial side, but also from the other side of the skeletonized movement. And, for the first time ever, light reaches the heart of the Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Full Sapphire from all directions. Once there, it diffuses, refracts, reflects, bends, and turns—creating a speck of light that envelops the wrist.
