Vacheron Constantin [2021 New Release] New Model of "Historiques Américaine 1921" Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Its Birth

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American 1921, which was produced in small quantities for the US market in 1921, three new variations with new arrangements have been added in 2021. Two white gold models and a platinum model limited to 100 pieces have been added, further enriching the lineup.

Three films celebrating the 100th anniversary

　Vacheron Constantin announced three new models in the Historiques Américaine 1921 collection as part of Watch & Wonders 2021. These models are reproductions of the Américaine 1021, which was produced in 1921 in response to an order from the United States.

　The most eye-catching feature is the dial, which is rotated 45 degrees clockwise. This was created as a way to make it easier for drivers to check the time while driving. The 1920s was a time of great innovation for wristwatches, and saw the birth of unprecedented culture and art. This unique form evokes the energy of the time, when new ideas were being created.

　2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the American 1921, and this announcement introduces three new "Historiques American 1921" models to the collection. The first is a 40mm case model in white gold, the second is a 36.5mm case model, also in white gold, and the third is a 40mm case model in platinum, limited to 100 pieces.

　The dial of the 18K white gold model is crafted from the same 18K white gold as the case, and its grained silver-tone finish, combined with the cushion case, evokes the atmosphere of the original model. The small seconds at 3 o'clock and the black Breguet numerals surrounding the dial create a retro look. In addition to the 40mm, a 36.5mm model is also available, making it an elegant addition to any woman's wrist.

　The dial of this platinum model, limited to 100 pieces, is also made of platinum 950, just like the case. The surface is uniformly sandblasted, and 18K white gold applied indexes and a blued steel small seconds dial add a special touch. It is presented on a blue alligator strap with platinum and silk stitching.

　All three models are equipped with the in-house caliber 4400 AS, and the delicate finish can be admired through the sapphire crystal transparent case back. They have a simple, hand-wound, three-hand structure and a power reserve of approximately 65 hours.
