Vacheron Constantin [2021 New Release] Adds 18K Pink Gold Model to Overseas Tourbillon

Vacheron Constantin has announced an 18K pink gold model of its luxury sports watch, the Overseas Tourbillon. Following on from the stainless steel model released in 2019, this model combines the elegance and modern impression that the Maison values.

　Vacheron Constantin announced an 18K pink gold model of the Overseas Tourbillon as a new addition to Watches & Wonders 2021. As the name suggests, this is a high-end model equipped with a tourbillon in the company's luxury sports watch Overseas collection, and a stainless steel model was first released in 19.

　This model combines the two elements that the company calls "elegant" and "modern." The dial, surrounded by a hexagonal bezel reminiscent of a Maltese cross, is finished in blue lacquer, and the surface with a sunburst finish changes color depending on the amount of light.

　This blue, a special color created for the Overseas collection, evokes both urban and deep ocean vibes. The 18K pink gold indices and hands create a clear contrast with the dial, ensuring excellent legibility.

　The opening in the dial allows one to admire the gracefully rotating tourbillon of the Caliber 2160. The carriage, which operates at a low frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and a speed of one rotation per minute, is shaped like a Maltese cross and has become one of the Maison's icons. The 188 components are housed in a space just 5.65 mm thick, resulting in a thin watch that is comfortable to wear.

　The Overseas Tourbillon, created for travelers, comes with interchangeable straps that allow for easy strap replacement. In addition to the substantial 18K pink gold bracelet, navy alligator leather and rubber straps are also available, offering dramatically different looks. This allows the wearer to enjoy the pleasure of choosing the strap that best suits any occasion.
