　Maurice Lacroix has announced the new Icon Venturer Bronze 43mm, a bronze case model in its now-classic Icon series, as part of its Watches & Wonders 2021 collection.

　The company first adopted bronze in 2017, when the "Icon Bronze" was released, equipped with a quartz movement. The following year, the "Icon Automatic Bronze" was released, equipped with an automatic movement. Both were sold as limited edition models, and the bronze case has become one of the elements that symbolize the company's limited editions.

　This model, which features an anthracite dial, a dark gray that leans towards black, will be sold as a limited edition model of 500 pieces worldwide, just like previous models. The powerful 43mm bronze case makes a bold and robust impression on the wrist, making it a watch that matches the excitement of urban life.

　The bronze used in the Icon is a special alloy that does not oxidize, so it does not develop a patina. However, it does age beautifully, gradually acquiring a patina and turning brown. Designed as a diver's watch, it is water resistant to 300m.

　The pin buckle on the strap is also made of bronze, just like the case. The easy-change system allows you to easily change the strap. You can switch between the anthracite-colored leather strap and the included black rubber strap without using any special tools. Another key feature is the bronze "m" mark embedded in the strap as proof of authenticity.
