Bell & Ross [2021 New Model] "BR 03-93 GMT" with GMT Function

Bell & Ross has announced the BR 03-93 GMT, a new tool watch with a GMT function for global travelers. While retaining the iconic square case, this timepiece offers both functionality and legibility.

　Bell & Ross has announced the BR 03-93 GMT, a new model for 2021. Displaying time zones other than the home time was crucial for the company, which has a history of producing tool watches for aircraft pilots. GMT, short for Greenwich Mean Time, is a must-have for pilots and a great companion for global travelers.

　The company first released a model equipped with a GMT function back in 2007. It featured a titanium case with a large date and GMT hand, and in 13 released a carbon fiber model. In 18, it was added to the Vintage series, adding a chic and approachable impression. In 20, a model with a blue dial reminiscent of the sky was added, and it was even chosen by pilots of Air France. The GMT function is an essential element for Bell & Ross, and the company continues to expand its lineup with each passing year.

　The new model announced this time inherits the iconic square case of the company's flagship model, but with some design changes. With functionality and visibility in mind, it has a more modern impression than the existing model, while also enhancing its value as a tool watch.

　The watch features a sunray-finished black dial, rooted in Bell & Ross' DNA, and the photoluminescent Arabic numerals and indices stand out. The hour and minute hands and the GMT hand, which has a red tip, are coated with Super-LumiNova, making them clearly legible day or night. The design is reminiscent of cockpit instruments, ensuring excellent legibility.

　This model, featuring the iconic square case, is fitted with a rotating bezel for the first time. An improvement over the previous design, it now allows for the display of a second time zone and even a third. The striking two-tone black and red bezel provides a striking visual contrast. Crafted from anodized aluminum, the surface is anodized. While square cases are generally considered difficult to ensure water resistance, this model is water resistant to 100m, making it suitable for use underwater.
