Tissot [2021 New Release] Three new colors added to the versatile "Seastar 1000 Quartz Chronograph"

New variations have been added to the Tissot Seastar 1000 Quartz Chronograph. Two models feature a black dial with a red and blue bezel ring, and one with a gradient green dial. Both are scheduled to be released in May 2021.

Three vibrant variations

　Tissot has added three variations to its Seastar 1000 Quartz Chronograph for 2021. This versatile timepiece is perfect not only for sports but for a variety of other occasions. The new models include two with a subdued black dial and a vibrant red and blue two-tone rotating bezel ring, and one with a green dial, reminiscent of the clear tropical ocean and a recent trend.

　There have been several variations of this model released so far, each with a different feel. You can also choose between a stainless steel bracelet or a rubber strap, making it a perfect daily watch.

　Over the course of its long history of 168 years since its founding, the company has maintained its position as a watchmaker beloved around the world as "INNOVATORS BY TRADITION" (innovators rooted in tradition, breaking with tradition). The company's technology, which has been used to manufacture diver's watches since 1938 using a screw-down airtight structure, is still in use today, and this model is also water resistant to 300m.

　Although it is a full-fledged diver's watch equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screw-down crown, it is equipped with a quartz movement, making it affordable at just under 6 yen (tax included). Because it is not solar-powered, the button battery needs to be replaced after a few years, but there is a low battery warning function so there is no need to worry about it suddenly stopping.
