New colors now available in the hugely popular "Q TIMEX" series, which sold out in 30 minutes

TIMEX, for which Ueni Trading Co., Ltd. is the exclusive distributor in Japan, released the Q TIMEX last year, which was so well-received that it sold out in just 30 minutes on the official online store. Pre-orders for three color variations of this popular model will begin on Friday, May 14, 2021, on the official TIMEX online store, with the models releasing on Friday, May 21. The black model is currently on sale at five BARNEYS NEW YORK stores.

"Q TIMEX"

　The Q-Timex series is a faithful reproduction of the quartz model released by Timex in 1979. The Q-Timex, known as the Pepsi colorway, features a rotating bezel painted in red and blue. It quickly sold out in 2019, and when it was resold on the official Timex online store in May 2020, it became such a popular series that it sold out in just 30 minutes after its release.

Three new colors will be available from Friday, May 21st

　The Q Timex is a faithful reproduction of the 1979 model. Released during the period of full-scale transition from mechanical to battery-powered (quartz) movements, this model has been faithfully reproduced, including the red and blue anodized rotating bezel, hatch caseback design that allows the user to change the battery themselves with a coin, woven stainless steel bracelet, and a dial featuring the letter "Q" for quartz movements, which were cutting-edge technology at the time, placed above the brand logo on the dial.
