　Longines has announced the Longines Avigation Big Eye, a new model for 2021. Featuring a gradient blue dial and a lightweight titanium case, this watch is inspired by a pilot's chronograph from the 1930s and was created as a tribute to the aviators of the early 20th century and their history.

　The name "Big Eye" comes from the fact that the 30-minute counter at the 3 o'clock position is larger than the other in-dials. The dial, which has been designed to maximize visibility, is a design that could only be achieved by a company that has responded to the needs of many professionals.

A classic watch with modern touches

　Despite its classic appearance, this watch incorporates many modern watchmaking techniques. Its most distinctive feature is its 41mm round titanium case. While the case is much larger than many vintage watches, its extremely light weight contributes greatly to the improved wearing comfort. The box-shaped sapphire crystal, which complements the recessed bezel, is treated with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating for improved visibility.
