Garmin, the American pioneer of GPS devices, has released two new models: the Approach S12 (available in three colors), the lightest wristwatch-style GPS golf navigation system in the Approach S series, which features simple functionality and lightness specifically designed for golf, and the Approach G12, a stopwatch-style GPS golf navigation system.

At just 34.1g, it's the lightest of all Garmin golf GPS watches, boasting simple, easy-to-use features tailored for golf. It also features a transflective MIP display for excellent visibility, even in sunlight. With over 42,000 registered courses worldwide, including Japan, it can measure the front, back, center, hazards, and doglegs of greens.
Size (WHD): 43.7mm x 43.7mm x 11.5mm. Operating time: Approximately 30 hours (GPS mode) / Approximately 10 weeks (watch mode). Weight: 34.1g. Water resistant to 50m. Price: 27,280 yen (tax included).

Stopwatch-style "Approach G12"

The Approach S12 features a stopwatch-style body and weighs just 25.1g, making it the lightest handheld golf distance meter in the Approach series. Its compact, circular design and wrist-free design allow it to be clipped to a belt, hat brim, or anywhere else besides the wrist. This simple model, specialized for golf, offers the same functionality as the Approach S12 watch-style device.

　This handheld golf club tracker is compatible with the Approach CT10 club tracking sensor, enabling the Garmin AutoShot feature, which automatically records shot location and distance. (Note: The Approach CT10 must be attached to all clubs you play.) The long-lasting battery life, which lasts up to approximately 30 hours when using GPS, allows for comfortable use even during long rounds without worrying about battery life.
