This collection faithfully reproduces the model that debuted in 1979, and the original model was released at a time when the full-scale transition from mechanical movements to quartz movements was taking place. The domed acrylic crystal is retained in this model, and in terms of functionality, it features a day and date display in addition to the hour, minute, and second hands, making it highly practical.
