A. Lange & Söhne will be holding a "Moon Phase Watch Fair" featuring watches equipped with moon phase mechanisms at four of its boutiques in Japan (Tokyo and Osaka) until June 30, 2021.

The A. Lange & Söhne moon phase mechanism reproduces the phases of the moon with great precision. This mechanism, which has been used in many wristwatches since ancient times, not only adds functionality but also gives the watch a poetic look.
Most of the moon phases featured in the company's watches are accurate to 99.998%, meaning that it would take 122.6 years for the moon's phase to deviate by one day, and some models are so precise that they could theoretically deviate by one day every 1058 years.
The unique deep blue color, an essential element of the A. Lange & Söhne moon phase, is applied using a patented coating. The mirror-polished solid gold moon disc shines against a background of tiny stars, allowing the wearer to enjoy its beautiful appearance on their wrist.
