Cuervo y Sobrinos' "Esplendidos" featuring a 1939 Harley Knucklehead

Cuervo y Sobrinos will release the new 2021 limited edition "Esplendidos Scott Jacobs" model at authorized dealers nationwide from late June. Born in Cuba, Cuervo y Sobrinos has once again teamed up with renowned American artist Scott Jacobs, widely known for his depictions of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This new model, limited to 100 pieces worldwide, features a 1939 Knucklehead Bobber style dial.

　The Knucklehead is a pre-war model with an attractively shaped engine that is highly coveted by many Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, manufactured between 1936 and 1947. Scott Jacobs met two enthusiasts who owned a 1939 Knucklehead-equipped bobber bike, and they came to share his passion for Harley. While this bike is not an original, its vivid blue and yellow paintwork, bobbed fenders, and block tires attracted a lot of praise and attention.

1939 Knucklehead Bobber

　Last year, Cuervo y Sobrinos collaborated with Scott Jacobs to release a limited-edition watch based on his painting "Live to Ride." When Cuervo y Sobrinos proposed another collaboration, Scott immediately knew he wanted to paint a 1939 Knucklehead Bobber. Offered the dial of an Esplendidos watch as a canvas for his creativity, Scott first produced his original artwork in full size, which was then reproduced in miniature form using a special four-color laser printing technique.

　The striking color of the 1939 Knucklehead Bobber is beautifully depicted on the watch's distinctive dial, and the strap is crafted from vibrant blue Alcantara with orange thread lining and stitching, and an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet is also included.
