NORQAIN's 2021 limited edition models "INDEPENDENCE 21" and "INDEPENDENCE 21 DLC Skeleton"

At the time of its founding, NORQAIN declared that it would release a special model symbolizing the spirit of independence as a limited edition collection each year. For 2021, two models will be released: the INDEPENDENCE 21, featuring a midnight blue dial with an old steel finish, and the INDEPENDENCE 21 DLC Skeleton, featuring a skeletonized movement.

　The new GMT and three-hand models are equipped with the chronometer-certified GMT Manufacture Caliber NN20/2 and the three-hand Manufacture Caliber NN20/1, respectively, and each has a 70-hour "weekendproof" power reserve, meaning the watch can be worn for two days over the weekend without needing to be adjusted.

INDEPENDENCE 21

　The Independence 21 is a truly unique model. The midnight blue dial with an antique steel finish is hand-finished, resulting in a subtle variation in the look of each watch, with no two pieces being exactly alike. The movement is the high-quality Manufacture Caliber NN20/1, boasting a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The transparent, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal caseback allows viewers to admire the movement at any time. The bridge is engraved with the brand's core values ​​and the name of the NORQAIN collection: "Adventure - Freedom - Independence," while the rotor is engraved with the NORQAIN logo, a gold "double N" symbolizing the Swiss Alps.

INDEPENDENCE 21 DLC Skeleton

　The case, bezel, and NORQAIN plate are all made of DLC-coated stainless steel. Of particular note is the fact that this model is the first to feature a DLC-coated bracelet. The 42mm DLC-coated case, like the midnight blue dial model, is available in three different finishes: polished, satin, and sandblasted.
