Bell & Ross releases three types of "Alpine F1® Team Collection"

Since 2016, Bell & Ross has partnered with the Renault F1® Team. To celebrate the Alpine brand's presence in this year's Grand Prix races, the team was renamed the Alpine F1® Team, and Bell & Ross is now its official timing partner. To celebrate this ongoing partnership, the Alpine F1® Team Watch Collection, inspired by the world of Formula 1™, has been launched. The timepieces consist of three ultra-sporty chronographs.

Renault F1® Team renamed Alpine F1® Team

　The recent arrival of Luca de Meo as General Director of Groupe Renault has brought a number of strategic changes: the Renault F1® Team has rebranded as the Alpine F1® Team, and Bell & Ross has developed its first collection inspired by the Alpine team's graphic charts.

　The collection is named A521 in reference to the current Alpine A521 single-seater. The sporty watch dials reflect Alpine's visual identity, particularly the team's primary color code of blue, black, and white. They also feature cutting-edge materials tested in Formula 1 cars. The special timepieces will be worn by Alpine F1® team drivers and staff throughout the 2021 season.

Square case "BR 03-94 A521"

　This is the iconic Bell & Ross case, the "circle in a square" introduced with the BR-01. The collection also includes the 42mm steel BR-03. The dial is similar to that of the BR V3-94, with the exception of the date display at 6 o'clock. Significantly, the two chronograph hands are "Alpine Blue." The bidirectional rotating bezel counts down from 60 minutes to 0 minutes, making it extremely useful at the start of a race. The toggle-type black PVD-coated chronograph pushers are reminiscent of the paddles found on racing car steering wheels. The perforated rubber strap is lightweight and breathable, ideal for cooling wrists during a race.

Square case "BR-X1 A521"

　The watch is crafted from a mix of materials: grade 5 titanium, ceramic, and rubber. The toggle-style push-buttons are titanium encased in rubber, ensuring optimal grip. The ergonomic design is reminiscent of the steering wheel paddles found on Formula 1® racing cars. The ceramic surround protects the case from impacts, and the skeletonized dial is meticulously crafted. A glass window allows for a close look at the movement, including the iconic X-shaped central bridge and balance spring. The bezel is constructed of a fixed titanium piece with a rotating aluminum ring, coated with black PVD, that marks the hours.

Round case "BR V3-94 A521"

　The dial features white indices contrasting with the surrounding black, ensuring high legibility. The italic typeface evokes speed and dynamism. The two counters, composed of a star and a white circle, resemble the wheel rims of a racing car, offering a glimpse into the watch's mechanism. The tip of the central seconds hand features Alpine's iconic "A." A subtle red, white, and blue flag at 6 o'clock represents Alpine's home country, France. Two straps are available: a convenient steel strap or a perforated leather strap with a hole at the top that resembles carbon fiber.
