A fun tool for learning about Switzerland and its watch industry has been released
WATCH.SWISS Japan, a promotional event for the Swiss watch industry produced by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH), will be exhibited from July 27th to August 31st as an opening event for the JR Nagoya Takashimaya Watch Maison, which will open this summer.
Events and tools to introduce the Swiss watch industry
WATCH.SWISS is an experiential event tool that allows visitors to learn about seven themes related to Switzerland and Swiss watches (Switzerland, Swiss Made, History, Design, Precision, Manufacturing, and Complicated Watches) by touching the iPad panel. Additionally, a touchscreen "workbench" allows visitors to digitally experience assembling a mechanical watch movement.
During this exhibition, for the first time, Swiss tourism and local specialties will also be introduced, with special cooperation from the Swiss Embassy and Switzerland Tourism, to allow visitors to learn about Switzerland, a country that prides itself on its watchmaking.

The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH) is an organization whose purpose is to protect and develop the Swiss watch industry, and it operates with offices in Bienne, Switzerland (headquarters), Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Latin America. Its membership consists of approximately 500 companies, more than 9% of Swiss companies engaged in the production and sale of watches, clocks, and watch parts, and it works to protect the legal interests of its members.
