Audemars Piguet [New for 2021] "Royal Oak Chronograph" with purple gemstones surrounding the purple dial

Audemars Piguet will release a new model of the Royal Oak Chronograph 38mm in October. This model will be available exclusively at Audemars Piguet boutiques. This is the first time for the Manufacture to release an 18K pink gold timepiece with a bezel set with baguette-cut amethysts. The purple gemstones surround the purple dial, creating a perfectly color-matched design. The dial of this timepiece, created by the Manufacture's craftsmen, subtly changes purple color as it catches the light.

Purple chameleon dial

　The purple dial's "Grande Tapisserie" pattern changes color with the light, like a chameleon. This transformation is achieved by applying multiple layers of purple PVD to the dial. Depending on the angle of the watch and the light, the tone shifts between pink and purple, with subtle hints of blue intertwining. Three purple chronograph counters adorn the dial. 18K pink gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands match the case and bracelet, creating a contrast with the dial color.
