Lepe's new clock, "Time Flies," is an ultra-luxury propeller plane

Muraki will be selling the new 2021 model "Time Flies" from Swiss luxury clock maison L'EPEE at authorized dealers nationwide from August. "Time Flies" is part of a collection created with the theme of space travel, such as rockets, galactic exploration, and adventure, which is common to L'EPEE's previous releases such as "STARFLEET MACHINE," "Destination Moon," and "Hot Balloon," and was created as a tribute to the airplane, one of the most amazing vehicles ever invented by mankind.

　Mankind, dreaming of flying freely in the skies, succeeded in the world's first manned flight in the early 20th century. Since then, adventurers have been driven to fly higher and farther, dramatically changing the very concept of travel. "Time Flies" captures people's imaginations and embodies the airplanes of adventurers that we dreamed of as children.

　The mainspring is wound and the time is adjusted by rotating the engine radiator, to which the propeller is attached, counterclockwise to wind the mainspring and clockwise to adjust the time. The movement, specially designed for the "Time Flies," has an escapement that adjusts the precision mounted horizontally inside the cockpit, and the precision is adjusted from the pilot's seat. Despite its skeletonized structure, the watch is quite heavy at 3 kg in total, but the three landing wheels provide excellent stability.
