A. Lange & Söhne will once again be exhibiting at the 24th Mitsukoshi World Watch Fair, one of Japan's largest watch fairs, which will be held at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from Wednesday, August 18th to Monday, August 30th, 2021.
The theme of this year's Mitsukoshi World Watch Fair is "Tokimeki Restart," a theme that embodies the excitement that gives us the strength to make a new start amidst the great changes we are experiencing these days.
A. Lange & Söhne offers exciting encounters with watches that will inspire you to take on new challenges. The words "Never Stand Still," left behind by Walter Lange, the founder of the brand's revival, are directed at all those who move forward.
This 2021 model retains the unique design of the brand's signature model, the Lange 1, while incorporating a perpetual calendar, one of its complex mechanisms. The high-precision moon phase, which only deviates by one day every 122.6 years, has a two-tiered structure overlapping with the day/night indicator. Automatic winding (Cal. During the event, the A. Lange & Söhne boutique at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi main store will be offering a wide range of collections, including new releases this year and rare limited edition models. There are plenty of highlights to see, including the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar, which beautifully incorporates complex mechanisms, and the Triple Split, which is the first watch to feature a blue dial.
This is a new variation of the "Triple Split" introduced in 2018. It combines a blue dial with a pink gold case, adopting a color scheme that emphasizes legibility. It is the world's only chronograph capable of measuring reference and intermediate times up to 12 hours, and even features a flyback function. It is hand-wound (Cal. L132.1). 46 jewels. 21,600 vph.
