LANG & HEYNE's first luxury sports car, HEKTOR

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of their workshop, Lang & Heyne has unveiled their latest creation, HEKTOR. HEKTOR is characterised by many fine details throughout, visualising several design elements of the "petticoat" shape.

　The brand's first central seconds movement is visible through an opening in the dial, a key feature. But the true beauty of the Hector, like all LANG & HEYNE watches, is revealed when one appreciates the stylistic beauty of the movement visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. This edition is limited to 99 pieces, with 33 pieces each available with a green, gray, or blue dial.

　The Hector "petticoat" design language conveys a strong presence throughout the movement's structure and bridges, as well as the dial and hands. The movement bridges and three hands also emphasize this image. The specially designed solid steel bracelet also incorporates unique design elements, exuding a unique character with the shape of the beveled links. The stylized "H" in the Hector's applied indexes and the relief pattern on the inner dial provide interesting design elements.

In-house Caliber – LANG & HEYNE 33.2

　The in-house LANG & Heyne Caliber 33.2 that powers this model stands out with its openwork construction, made possible by the "petticoat"-shaped bridges that resemble the dial opening. The extra-flat design is achieved through a proprietary eccentric balance and flying barrel. Special components on the balance cock allow for fine adjustments, allowing the wearer to see the depth of the movement's architecture. All components are made of Arcap, a refined, non-magnetic material that develops a special luster when polished. Flat components such as shafts, screws, and levers are made of steel.

Case and bracelet

　The case and bracelet are perfectly matched to the movement and fit like a tailored suit, while the cushion-shaped crown guards give it a soft feel, making it both comfortable to wear and pleasing to the eye.
