To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the French manufacture's revival, Péquigner unveils its third entirely original movement.

Founded in 1973, Péquigner debuted its in-house developed movement, the Calibre Royal, in 2011, and is now firmly established as the only French manufacture. Having received recognition from the French government as a French Enterprise for Intangible Cultural Heritage (EPV) representing the heritage of French watchmaking culture, history, and technology, the next step for the company is to increase market volume and further raise its profile. Therefore, Péquigner, needing to offer a more "orthodox" movement, has announced a new movement, the Calibre Initiale.
