Arnold & Son Globe-Trotter Gold Edition Watch with a World Globe

Arnold & Son has added a new model with an 18K red gold case as a new variation of the Globe-Trotter, which was released in 2018. The iconic bridge and indexes that support the globe are all gold, and this is a limited edition model with only 28 pieces produced.

Globe-Trotter adds elegance

　Arnold & Son, a luxury watch brand under the Citizen umbrella, has announced the Globe-Trotter Gold. The base model, the Globe-Trotter, was introduced at Baselworld in 2018 and features a giant globe placed in the center of the dial. The central bridge and bold domed crystal give it a distinctive look that is unlike any other Arnold & Son collection.

　The Globe-Trotter, which the brand describes as a "timepiece that will become a modern navigator," features a large 45mm case, the iconic arched bridge, and applied indexes on the dial, all in gold, refining the aesthetics of the model.

　The blue dial complements the gold perfectly. The underside of the dial, which surrounds the three-dimensional, realistic globe, is finished with a delicate sunlight finish with a blue gradient, and the world time ring is made of transparent sapphire crystal, so it does not obscure the dial.

　The large globe also greatly contributes to the reading of the GMT function: local time is indicated by the red hand pointing to the gold index, while world time (second time zone) is indicated by the ruby ​​in the center of the bridge connecting to the city of interest, and the numbers inscribed on the 24-hour ring extending from that point.

　This watch is equipped with Arnold & Son's in-house movement, Cal. A&S6022, and like the rest of the collection, everything from development to manufacturing, decoration, and assembly is carried out in the La Chaux-de-Fonds workshop. The transparent case back allows you to see the 22K rotor and admire the beautiful decoration of the Clous de Paris.
