Citizen announces new, practical Promaster LAND series watches

Citizen's LAND series of Promaster watches, known for their durability and functionality for professional use, has released two models with four new models. These include models with enhanced functionality such as world time and chronograph, and simple models with limited functionality such as a three-hand day-date display.

A professional watch that can withstand any environment

　Citizen has added two new models (four in total) to its Promaster LAND series, which boasts high reliability and the functionality required for specialized fields. Divided into three categories—LAND, MARINE, and SKY—these new models are particularly practical for land use.

　The two models are contrasting, the Promaster Eco-Drive Radio-Controlled Watch Direct Flight, which is packed with features such as world time and a chronograph, and the Promaster Eco-Drive Radio-Controlled Watch, which has minimal functionality, but they share the commonality of being easy to use, tough, and great companions.

A sports chronograph with a full range of functions

The Promaster Eco-Drive Radio-Controlled Watch Direct Flight is a sports chronograph with a distinctive bezel shape. The thick, highly visible indexes and accent colors on the hands and other parts give it a sporty impression.

　Its functionality is enhanced with a radio-controlled watch that receives standard radio waves from Japan, China, the US, and Europe, as well as world time, a chronograph, an alarm, and a perpetual calendar. Two models are available: the CB5034-91A, which features a refreshing white dial with blue accents, and the CB5034-91W, which has a trendy, glossy green dial.

　The stainless steel case is large, measuring over 44mm in diameter, but the curved case back and the back of the lugs enhance the wearing comfort.

A military model with limited functionality

　This new Promaster Eco-Drive radio-controlled watch features a day-date display, which is rare among Citizen Eco-Drive radio-controlled watches. The indexes, which combine inverted triangles, bars, and Arabic numerals, are matched with a rectangular day-date window, creating an exquisitely balanced dial layout.

　The thick hands and indexes are coated with luminous paint, making them easy to read in the dark, and the overall military feel is a defining feature of this watch. Additionally, the case and bracelet are made of Super Titanium, making them lightweight and gentle on the skin.

　The lineup includes the AT6080-53L, which combines a silver-colored case with a refreshing blue dial, and the chic AT6085-50E, which is coated in black with Duratect DLC. We recommend this model for those who are satisfied with the minimum functionality for everyday use.
