A fun way to learn about Switzerland and the Swiss watch industry
WATCH.SWISS Japan, a promotional event for the Swiss watch industry produced by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH), will be exhibiting from November 18th to 23rd as part of the 2021 Matsuzakaya Prestige Watch Fair at Matsuzakaya Nagoya, which celebrates its 410th anniversary this year.
Events and tools to introduce the Swiss watch industry
WATCH.SWISS is an experiential event tool that allows users to learn about seven themes related to Switzerland and Swiss watches (Switzerland, Swiss Made, History, Design, Precision, Manufacturing, and Complicated Watches) by touching the iPad panel.
Additionally, a touchscreen "workbench" allows visitors to digitally experience assembling a mechanical watch movement. Furthermore, during the exhibition period, on the 20th (Sat), 21st (Sun), and 23rd (Tue, national holiday), a "watch assembly demonstration and experience" event will be held, where visitors can enjoy a live look at the structure of a watch, with the special cooperation of Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College Osaka Branch and Omi Watch, Glasses, and Jewelry College. We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy the fascinating world of Swiss watches.
In order to help visitors learn about Switzerland, a country that prides itself on its watchmaking, the event will also introduce Swiss tourism and local specialties with the special cooperation of the Swiss Embassy and Switzerland Tourism.
