Ulysse Nardin Opens Private Showroom in its Historic Building in Le Locle

To mark the end of its 175th anniversary (1846-2021), Ulysse Nardin has opened a showroom dedicated to the company's history, located in the heart of the watchmaking town of Le Locle, on the site of the home of the Nardin family, the company's founders.

　On November 15, 2021, the doors of Ulysse Nardin's new showroom, located at 3 rue du Jardin in Le Locle, Switzerland, were opened. The atmosphere resembled a winter garden party, marking the birth of the Manufacture's new private space. 100 guests were treated to a 175-square-meter space showcasing the Maison's historic and current collections. Located within the landmark Le Locle building, the private space aims to tell the Maison's unique story for all future visitors passionate about the art of watchmaking.

　The museum is not open to the public, but it would be a perfect place to welcome future visitors during the biennial locally organized Watchmaking Heritage Days.

77th Anniversary Gift

　Ulysse Nardin has created a futuristic egg-shaped table clock, the "UFO Unidentified Flying Object," exclusively for the showroom. Having sold out just 21 days after its release in April 2021, and with the "orange" version receiving high praise at the ONLY WATCH auction on November 6, 2021, the UFO is sure to remain a hot topic. At the inauguration ceremony held on Monday night, a new copper-colored UFO was exhibited as the latest creation from Ulysse Nardin's engineering office and a permanent, non-sale piece in the showroom.
