November 2021, Lake Biwa. Panerai hosted its ambassador Takashi Sorimachi as host for its first-ever "Bass Fishing Tour" experience in Japan. Seven owners of the "Luminor Chrono Flyback Goldtech™ Takashi Sorimachi Experience Edition" participated in the bass fishing tour.

Japan's first Panerai Experience: "Bass Fishing Tour"

The first day of the tour was a special Italian dinner in Kyoto. Takashi Sorimachi introduced the appeal of bass fishing in his opening speech. The second day began with a morning fishing contest on Lake Biwa, where participants competed to see who could catch the largest bass. As Takashi Sorimachi waved a flag to signal the start of the competition, the bass boats all dispersed to the fishing points. Each participant received fishing advice from Sorimachi while battling with the bass.

After bass fishing, there was a barbecue on the lakeside, where Takashi Sorimachi personally grilled rare Omi beef steaks for the participants.

Finally, the bass were measured and a closing ceremony was held, and the owner of the largest bass was presented with a championship trophy by Takashi Sorimachi.
