Parnell becomes official partner of football's prestigious Ballon d'Or award

The award, established by France Football magazine in 1956, has a long history, and Ballon d'Or means "golden ball" in French.

　The 2021 winners were announced on November 29th, with Lionel Messi of Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain taking home the award in the men's category, and Alexia Putellas of Spain and FC Barcelona taking home the award in the women's category.

　The winners were presented with the Ballon d'Or 21, a watch specially created by Parnell for this award. The movement, housed in an elegant 18K rose gold case, features a golden ball at the 6 o'clock position. This is not just a design feature, but the company's pride and joy, the Spherion, a high-speed three-axis tourbillon. The intricately rotating cage, shaped like a soccer ball, gives the timepiece a dazzling trophy-like appearance.
