Adopts "ring solar" with solar cells around the outer periphery of the dial
The use of a ring solar movement allows for a deep, multi-layered structure and a metal dial. Metal rings are placed at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions, and the calendar displays at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions are cut into an arc to form a crescent moon.
The Super Titanium™ case is designed with a mirror finish and a hairline finish to create a three-dimensional shine. The unique dial design features a triple calendar and moon phase, but the case and band are simple, making it suitable for both casual and business occasions.
The Super Titanium™ used in this watch is made using Citizen's proprietary surface hardening technology, Duratect, which makes it more than five times harder than stainless steel. It is scratch-resistant, lightweight, and gentle on the skin, making it comfortable to wear.
The BU0065-64E features a luxurious design with a lustrous black Duratect DLC finish accented with pink gold. It features a solar-powered Eco-Dry movement (Cal. 8730). Accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. It runs for approximately six months on a full charge (with power save activated). It features Super Titanium™ Duratect DLC (42mm, 9.7mm thick).
