Introducing the "Traditional Complete Calendar Open Face," revealing the mechanism behind the dial

Introducing the new Traditionnelle Complete Calendar, featuring a modern design and an openwork sapphire crystal dial that reflects the great watchmaking tradition of 18th-century Geneva. Available in two models: 18K pink gold and white gold.

　Vacheron Constantin's Traditionnelle collection inherits the spirit of the watchmakers active in Geneva during the Enlightenment. The two models announced this time are equipped with a complete calendar and have an extremely sophisticated style.

　The 41mm case is crafted from 18K white gold and 18K pink gold and features an open face surrounded by a sapphire crystal dial. This new styling, which combines contemporary design with watchmaking heritage, is reminiscent of the Traditionnelle Twin Beat Perpetual Calendar released in 2019.

　While retaining classic styles such as a round case with a coin-edge pattern engraved on the case back, a railway minute track, and dauphine-shaped hands, the newly announced "Traditional Complete Calendar Open Face" adopts a modern design in two unique models.

　The openwork sapphire crystal dial allows you to see the caliber 2460QCL/2 movement, which has an anthracite grey finish thanks to the NAC treatment on the plate and bridges. The triple calendar display, which includes a highly accurate moon phase, adds depth to the watch's functional and contemporary style.

"Open-face" style that allows you to view the mechanism

The designs of these two models also reflect the distinctive features of the "Traditional" collection, such as the stepped case and lugs, the case back with a coin-edge pattern, the slim bezel, the railway minute track, the dauphine hands with two facets, and the gold baton-shaped indexes.

　The movement's structure, finished in anthracite grey with NAC treatment, is fully visible from both the front and back of the case, highlighting its powerful form. The flange where the central hand for the date is pointed is finished in slate grey opaline, and the upper part of the dial, made of sapphire crystal, is also decorated with a slate grey guilloched pattern and gold applied hour markers.

　This three-part dial also reveals the sapphire discs used for the days of the week and the month, both displayed through apertures. The moon phase disc, featuring two realistic moons, is also covered by a semi-transparent sapphire mask. This transparency allows the movement components to be admired, including the plate and bridges, which feature a unique vertical finish.

　The open-face design also highlights the watch's technical features: a complete calendar, also known as a triple calendar, which displays the date, day of the week, month, and even a moon phase.
