Grand Seiko Boutique Opens at Isetan Shinjuku & Commemorative Fair Held

On Wednesday, February 16th, the Grand Seiko Salon on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku will be refreshed and reopened as a Grand Seiko Boutique. To commemorate this, the store will be holding the "Grand Seiko Boutique Refresh Open Fair" from Wednesday, February 16th to Tuesday, March 15th, where customers who purchase a Grand Seiko watch will receive an original novelty gift on a first-come, first-served basis.

A fair will be held to celebrate the opening of the Grand Seiko Boutique.

　The Grand Seiko Boutique will open at the Isetan Shinjuku store on Wednesday, February 16th. The Grand Seiko Salon was originally located on the 5th floor watch section of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store, but this corner will be refreshed and reopened.

　The refreshed reopening will not only expand the product lineup, but also allow the store to handle models exclusive to the Grand Seiko Boutique. Furthermore, a new repair counter will be set up, allowing repairs and overhauls exclusively for Grand Seiko watches purchased at the store.

　To celebrate the refreshed reopening of the Grand Seiko Boutique, the Grand Seiko Boutique Refresh Open Fair will be held at the Watch/Promotion section on the 5th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store from Wednesday, February 16th to Tuesday, March 15th. During the fair, customers who purchase a Grand Seiko watch will receive a special original novelty gift on a first-come, first-served basis.

　At the same time, all eight models of the Grand Seiko Isetan Shinjuku store limited edition, which have been on sale since 2005, will be on display. All of them have sold out and are not available for purchase, but this is a rare opportunity to see Grand Seiko in the unique coloring of Isetan Shinjuku.

Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SBGA443

　The main product at the fair is the Heritage Collection SBGA443. This model captures the scene after the vernal equinox, one of the 24 solar terms that divide the year into four seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and further subdivide each season into six.

　The dial, adorned in a muted pink tone, evokes the image of a "flower raft," where cherry blossom petals blown about by the wind cover the surface of a river. The design beautifully captures the seasonal feeling unique to Japan, where people never stop admiring the cherry blossoms even after they have fallen.

Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SBGJ235

　With the renewal of the Grand Seiko Salon into a Grand Seiko Boutique, it goes without saying that the store will also begin selling models exclusive to the Grand Seiko Boutique.

The Heritage Collection SBGJ235 is a boutique-exclusive model equipped with the Cal. 9S86, a high-beat movement with a frequency of 36,000 vph and an added GMT function. As the legitimate successor to the 44GS, which established the "Seiko style," its exterior is a striking modern interpretation of its design.

　The distinctive dial pattern represents the mountainside of Mount Iwate as seen from Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, where the watch is also manufactured. At night, the snow reflects the moonlight, creating a faint winter mountain scene.
