Bvlgari announces that it will present a watch as a prize at the Japan Academy Prize

Bulgari has announced that it will be presenting watches as a prize to the winners of the 45th Japan Academy Awards, which will be held in March. At a press conference held prior to the awards ceremony, Masami Nagasawa appeared on stage wearing Bulgari jewelry.

　Bulgari, a world-renowned high jeweler born in Rome, Italy, has had a long-standing and loving relationship with the film industry, dating back to the Cinecittà film studios in Rome during the golden age of the film industry in the 1950s.

　As many Hollywood figures began to stay in Rome for extended periods to work on films at Cinecittà, the brand captivated many Hollywood actresses, including Elizabeth Taylor, star of the 1963 film "Cleopatra." In between filming, these women would frequently visit Bvlgari, whose flagship store was located on Via Condotti in Rome.

　Bulgari, which has a long and deep relationship with the film industry and celebrities including film actresses, has announced that it will continue to provide prize support in 2021, hoping to further the development of the Japan Academy Prizes.

　At the 45th Japan Academy Awards to be held on March 11, 2022, the winners of the Grand Prize, Topic Award, Association Special Award, and New Actor Award will be presented with a Bulgari watch as a consolation prize.
