Mido's architecturally inspired anniversary series is here

Mido has announced a new "All Dial Limited Edition" watch with an architecturally inspired design. This is part of an anniversary series celebrating 20 years of unique and timeless ties, and the motif of this piece is the Colosseum, an amphitheater.

The first piece in Mido's anniversary series

　Mido has now announced that it will be releasing five limited edition models from its flagship collection throughout 2022. Each anniversary series is inspired by a world-famous building. Each monument pays homage through delicate engravings on the dial details or case back, and each will be released in limited quantities to coincide with the monument's birth year.

　The first piece in this anniversary series is a limited edition model from the All Dial collection, which was released in 2002. The All Dial Limited Edition, limited to 2022 pieces, features a unique design that incorporates the Colosseum, a huge amphitheater that is one of the most famous structures in ancient Rome.

　The architectural elements of the all-dial design are immediately apparent in this piece: the grained anthracite dial is circular and multi-layered, with an inner flange resembling the Colosseum's stand when viewed from above and a sandblasted texture resembling the texture of stone.

　Additionally, the brushed stainless steel bracelet features a polished finish reminiscent of the amphitheater's arches, evoking its archaeological heritage, and the case back is engraved with the Colosseum motif that inspired the series, along with the serial number.
