H. Moser & Cie. has announced the new Endeavour Small Seconds Total Eclipse, a collaboration with the menswear specialist brand The Armoury. This model, themed around a total solar eclipse, features Vantablack® on the dial. Two models are available, each limited to 28 pieces worldwide.

H. Moser & Cie. has announced the new Endeavour Small Seconds Total Eclipse, a collaboration with The Armoury, a specialist menswear brand. Based on the Endeavour, this model comes in two versions: a stainless steel case model and a combination case model that combines stainless steel and 18K red gold. Each model is limited to 28 pieces worldwide.
The Vantablack® dial is paired with hour markers. Featuring a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock and delicate Breguet hands, this model boasts a simple yet unique design. Manual winding (Cal. HMC327). 29 jewels. 18,000 vph. Power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Stainless steel (diameter 38mm, thickness 9.9mm). Water resistant for everyday use. Limited to 28 pieces worldwide. 3.3 million yen (tax included).
As the name "Total Eclipse" suggests, the motif of this watch is a total solar eclipse. The black dial is crafted from Vantablack®, a material with a light absorption rate of 99.965%, creating a black hole-like darkness on the dial, representing the moon during a total solar eclipse. Surrounding it are the stainless steel bezel and an inner bezel in stainless steel or 18K red gold, representing the solar corona, the outermost layer of the sun's gaseous atmosphere that can only be seen with the naked eye during a total solar eclipse.
This variation features a red gold inner bezel. The compact size was suggested by Armory co-founder Mark Cho. The total solar eclipse theme was the brainchild of his design partner, Elliot Hammer. While the brand has previously released models with Vantablack® dials, this is the first time that dot-type hour markers have been set on the Vantablack® dial. Vantablack®, which is made up of carbon nanostructures, is highly susceptible to scratches, so the company developed a new technology to achieve this. The hands are Breguet hands that match the classic size of the case.
The movement is a hand-wound "Cal. HMC327" with a 72-hour power reserve. Its movement and finishing can be observed through the see-through case back.
This model will be available at the Armory stores in New York and Hong Kong, as well as on both companies' e-commerce platforms, but applications for purchase are also being accepted at the H.
