Sinn announces new diver's watch, the EZM13.1, with a 60-minute counter

Sinn has announced the EZM13.1, a new diver's watch. It features a 60-minute counter at the 6 o'clock position and is equipped with the uniquely improved Cal. SZ02 movement. It incorporates Sinn technology to enhance its professional tool-like quality.

A diver's chronograph with excellent underwater timekeeping capabilities

　Sinn has announced the EZM13.1 diver's chronograph, a new addition to its Mission Timer series, which prioritizes practicality for professionals. This model is a timekeeping instrument that combines traditional style with numerous technical advantages. Focusing on legibility, a key element of a diver's watch worn while diving, this model is equipped with Sinn's improved caliber SZ02 movement.

　A notable feature of this movement is that it features a 60-minute counter instead of the 30-minute counter found in typical chronographs. This allows for quick and intuitive reading of the elapsed time, and its large, highly legible counter at 6 o'clock provides excellent readability. The overall dial design has also been optimized, eliminating the Arabic numerals from the indexes. This not only enhances the technical functionality, but also the visual appeal.

　This model also incorporates a variety of unique "Sinn technologies" to enhance durability and accuracy stability under extreme conditions, including "Magnetic Field Protection" that provides high magnetic resistance of 8 A/m, "Ar Dry Technology" that prevents fogging on the inside of the crystal due to sudden temperature changes, "Sinn Special Oil (66-228)" that maintains accuracy in temperatures from -45°C to +80°C, and a rotating bezel with a special coupling method.

　In addition, this model features a double gasket and the D3 system, which ensures perfect sealing, allowing the chronograph to be operated underwater.Water resistance, pressure resistance, and functionality have been verified and certified by DNV (formerly DNV GL/Germania Lloyd), an independent classification society and certification body, in accordance with European diving equipment standards.
