　Piaget's signature ladies' watch, the Limelight Gala, is a collection that combines the enthusiasm of the 1970s with the brand's timeless craftsmanship know-how. Piaget, which specializes in goldsmithing and stone setting, has three ateliers in Geneva, making it a diamond watch unique to the brand.

　The diamond-set lugs extend outwards, creating an asymmetrical, bold, and sensual design. Celebrating women who shine freely and unconventionally, the Limelight Gala collection takes its name from the Piaget Society, a place where celebrities who love the brand, such as movie stars and artists, gathered to share fun times.

　This collection was born in the 70s, a time of great creative and cultural activity, when the Piaget Society was in full swing. Inspired by the atmosphere of this fascinating era, this jewelry watch remains a feminine icon nearly half a century later.

Aventurine dial reminiscent of the night sky

　The 32mm white gold case features a slender, supple bezel gracefully set with 62 diamonds, shining with a dazzling sparkle, and the dial is crafted from mysterious aventurine glass, which shines like a starry sky.

　Aventurine, which means "adventure" or "accident" in Italian, is said to have been created by chance on the island of Murano, near Venice, in the 17th century. There are various theories, but one is that a glassmaker accidentally dropped a copper plate while making glass, and the melted copper reappeared as inclusions when the glass solidified, creating aventurine glass.

　The sparkle that shines against the deep blue has the same allure as a starry sky, drawing the viewer in. Because aventurine glass is created by chance, no two pieces are the same, making it feel even more special.
