Seiko has added the GTAW944, a jewelry watch with a pearl bracelet, to its Credor Linealx series. The brand developed many pearl bracelet watches from the 1980s and 90s, and this new model makes use of their heritage.
The "GTAW944" features a pearl bracelet with an elegant sparkle. The bracelet features a balanced arrangement of yellow gold parts and diamonds. Quartz movement (Cal. 4J80). 18K yellow gold case (diameter 23.6mm, thickness 6.3mm). Water resistant to 3 ATM. Limited to 10 pieces in Japan. 352 million yen (tax included).
The pearl bracelet is made with the highest quality domestically cultivated Akoya pearls. Among these, we have carefully selected the finest pink pearls, ranging in size from 6mm to 6.5mm, which are popular among Japanese women. Gathering enough pearls to make a bracelet while maintaining a consistent color and size is no easy task. The bracelet is made up of not only pearls but also yellow gold hardware, adding a touch of sparkle.
The dial is made of white mother-of-pearl, which matches the pearl bracelet perfectly. The brand's crest mark shines at the 12 o'clock position, and diamond indexes are set at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
The case is crafted from 18K yellow gold. The elegant lugs, a hallmark of the Linealx series, are set with diamonds, highlighting the shining white dial. A blue sapphire is set on the crown, adding an accent to the entire watch.
The watch is equipped with the Cal. 4J80, a highly accurate quartz movement with an annual accuracy of ±10 seconds. This highly reliable movement has been used by many of the brand's previous models.
In addition to the pearl bracelet, this model also comes with a pearl white crocodile strap. Both the bracelet and strap are equipped with a lever that allows them to be attached and detached with one touch, allowing you to enjoy changing them to suit the occasion or your mood.
