Citizen xC releases the limited edition "daichi collection" SAKURA model, showcasing the cherry blossoms that adorn spring.

Citizen is a ladies' watch brand known for its elegant and dignified design and easy-to-use functionality. From the "daichi collection" of CITIZEN xC, the brand will be releasing a limited edition SAKURA model, which depicts the cherry blossoms that adorn the spring, in limited quantities worldwide on International Women's Day.

The "daichi collection" is based on the concept of a vast land that continues into the future.

　Citizen's "daichi collection" was named with the hope that people will continue to walk across the endless, vast earth, enjoying the passage of time. It features a Sun & Moon function that moves the sun and moon motifs as time passes.

　This is the first time that a world time radio-controlled watch has this function; the watch's appearance changes with the time, with birds announcing the dawn in the morning and shooting stars sparkling in the evening sky after the sun, making checking the time a joyous experience.

　The limited edition model uses a variety of colors, including white, pink, and purple, on the dial to delicately express the overlapping hues of cherry blossom petals. The indexes are decorated with eight ethically grown synthetic diamonds and cut parts, creating a gorgeous design that sparkles with every movement of the wrist.

　The sakura pink case and band are made of lightweight, scratch-resistant, and skin-friendly Super Titanium™, which brightens the skin tone. The watch is equipped with a photovoltaic Eco-Drive technology that eliminates the need for periodic battery changes, and is a multi-station radio-controlled watch that receives radio signals from four regions around the world (Japan, China, Europe, and North America) and adjusts to the correct time.

Engraving service available for a limited time

　Engraving makes the watch one of a kind, making it even more special as a gift or a keepsake. Up to 12 characters can be engraved per line, and up to three lines can be engraved, so you can even engrave your motto or favorite phrase. There are two fonts to choose from. Motifs include "daichi," "mizu," and "hikari," which are part of the X-C collection, as well as "clover," "rabbit," and "bird," which represent spring, and designs featuring the birth flowers of each of the 12 months, making it a great gift.
