[New for 2022] Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Bicompax Annual Hometown Tokyo

Carl F. Bucherer has announced the new Heritage Bicompax Annual Hometown, inspired by 16 famous cities around the world that many people consider their hometowns. The Japanese version is, of course, Tokyo. While green dials have been popular since last year, this vibrant mint green is unusual.

　The founding Bucherer family began their business in Lucerne, Switzerland, and expanded it not only throughout Europe but also to Chile in South America at a time when transportation was inconvenient. Their adventurous and cosmopolitan nature broadened their horizons, and the world became their home. Carl F. Bucherer, who inherited this spirit, also considers the world's most fascinating cities to be important hometowns, and the "Hometown Edition" was born as a tribute to these cities. Each watch features an icon symbolizing that year engraved on the case back and a different dial color.

　The Heritage Bi-Compax Annual is a watch inspired by Bucherer chronograph watches manufactured in the 1950s. While retaining the classic double chronograph style, hands, indexes, and other design details, it has been updated to suit modern styles by adding an annual calendar function and increasing the case size to 41mm, making it a beloved iconic Carl F. Bucherer model.

　The case back is engraved with Tokyo symbols: Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, Skytree, Sensoji Temple, and Mount Fuji in the background. The fine lines are laser-etched, and the glass is double-layered on both sides to create a three-dimensional effect.
