[New for 2022] Two new models from IWC's Pilot's Watch collection

IWC Schaffhausen has introduced two new Top Gun models in its Pilot's Watch collection.

The Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratanium® is the collection's first 41mm chronograph crafted entirely from Ceratanium®, a groundbreaking new material that is as light and robust as titanium and as scratch-resistant as ceramic.

The Big Pilot's Watch 43 Top Gun is crafted from black zirconium oxide ceramic and is the first Top Gun Big Pilot's watch to be offered in a 43 mm case. This new model is powered by an IWC-manufactured movement from the 69000 or 82000 calibre family.

Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratanium®

　In addition to its exceptionally light and scratch-resistant properties, Ceratanium®'s most striking feature is its matte black color, which IWC and Pantone have named "IWC Ceratanium®." The dark, slightly metallic hue is the result of a special manufacturing process, in which the case is heated to high temperatures in an oven. The black dial and black hands, with their subtle white print and luminescent coating, complement the all-black design. The tinted sapphire-glass back offers a view of the IWC-manufactured chronograph movement, calibre 69385. The timepiece is presented on a black rubber strap with a textile inlay.

Big Pilot's Watch 43 Top Gun

　IWC and Pantone have named this black ceramic "IWC Jet Black." The timepiece is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82100 calibre. The Pellaton automatic winding system, with its virtually wear-resistant ceramic components, provides a 60-hour power reserve. The green textile strap can be easily changed thanks to the integrated EasyXCHANGE® system. A soft-iron inner case protects the movement from magnetic fields, and the windscreen is securely fastened to prevent it from shifting even in the event of a sudden drop in air pressure.
